Visited the Ambassador of Kuwait Mr. Najeeb Al-Bader
The Chairman
of Darulfatwa ( Islamic High Council of Australia ) Dr Sheikh Salim Alwan
Alhusainy, accompanied by a number Imams, community leaders, including Dr.
Ghayath Al-Shelh OAM ( President of Islamic Charity Projects Association - ICPA
Australia ) visited the State of Kuwait
Ambassador , Mr. Najeeb Al-Bader in Canberra.
During the
visit, his Eminence Sheikh Alwan presented a plaque of appreciation to the
Ambassador of Kuwait Mr Al-Bader to acknowledge his support and sponsoring
Darulfatwa 12th Annual Iftar Dinner this year 2016 as well as his services to
the Muslim community in Australia .
Furthermore, they discussed the recent violent activities which have taken place in
Lebanon, Turkey , Iraq and all other Islamic and Arabic countries under the
name of Islam while Islam is clear from them and their extremist views which is
destroying the countries and killing the innocents. Thus Sheikh Alwan explained
how important it is to protect our nation, especially our youth from those
groups and their methodology of not accepting others and their calls to kill
innocent people worldwide. His
Excellency, Mr Al-Bader expressed his concern to keep our eyes open on our
young kids especially those who play online games not to be hijacked by any of those
extremists and try to open channels with them in order to drag them towards
their extreme ideology.
Mr. Al-Bader valued the visit
of Sheikh Salim Alwan to the embassy of Kuwait and the hard work of Darulfatwa
Australia in teaching the true knowledge of Islam, which is a Religion of
moderation, clear of any extremist views.
In Conclusion his Eminence
Sheikh Salim Alwan repeated his thanks to
the Ambassador of Kuwait Mr Najeeb Al-Bader for his generosity and
support the Annual Ramadan Dinner 2016
and congratulated him and his family for
the occasion of the last ten days of Ramadan and Eidul-Fitr. In return Mr
Al-Bader thanked Sheikh Salim Alwan and Darulfatwa, The Islamic High Council of
Australia, for the visit to the State of Kuwait embassy and wished him all the
best in his future endeavors.
